I finally got the Wacom Cintiq 13HD!

I have used intuos tablets for years and loved them. I decided it was time to try the Cintiq,
I have played with the big one at a show and was very impressed. My first thought was that it is too big.

Wacom Cintiq 13HD:

I love the size~ it is the same size as my intuos5 tablet with a larger active screen (11.75″ W x 6.75″ H)

The tablet connects with~Wacom 3-in-1 cable with video (HDMI), USB 2.0 and AC Power adapters
I have two monitors so make sure your Graphics card has enough HDMI connectors for what you want.

So how do I like it!  I love that you can work right on your picture. There doesn’t seem to be any lag time.
It is the right size so that you can put it on you lap and work! I have all my brushes and other palettes
on another monitor which is nice. It would be too small if everything was on the tablet.

The pen is nice and has Pressure levels of 2048 with 60 degrees of tilt. I can use my Art pen with the tablet too.

The only thing I see as a con is there is not as many buttons as the intuos. I end up using the keyboard shortcuts more now!

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10

So I guess I don’t have time to be unmotivated?

I have had 3 weeks of lazy… Truly a learning experience

Decided that finishing ONE art journal would be a goal to achieve. I have a few, or maybe more than a few… to start on.
Here are a few pages, this made me think about starting a few new projects. I am three-fourths of the way through my journal, and looking forward to drawing more!

I also spent time working on the computer, so now I am ready to take my drawings to the next level.
What are some things that you find relaxing? Do you take time to do them?

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
